This gorgeous totem style necklace is made with a large, faceted Iolite, deep and dark like a stormy sky. Viking explorers who sailed far out into the Atlantic Ocean and away from any coastline would use iolite to help determine their position to the sun and bring forth protection. The embellished impression was created from a vintage Indian die. Carved buffalo horn from Bali topped with a labradorite. Sterling silver round link chain with lobster clasp, 16”.
